Ron Paul Missouri Delegates Formally Challenged by State GOP

• Ron Paul Missouri delegates appeared at a convention credentials committee for the state party yesterday after receiving a letter from Richard C. Peerson, chairman of the Republican convention credentials committee challenging their status as delegates to the state convention.
• The individuals appeared before the committee individually and behind closed doors. Richard C. Peerson, the chairman of the Republican convention credentials committee. The letter did not state any reasons for the challenge.
• Missourinet.Com reports that "Missouri Republican Party Executive Director Jared Craighead says no one has lost credentials as a result of the hearings. He says the committee, of which he is a member, will make a recommendation prior to the convention getting underway in Branson at the end of the month."
