Eve of the Florida Primary,Will Election Results Mirror the Polls?

  • Tomorrow is the Florida Primary for the Democrats and Republicans.
  • While the Democrats will not win any delegates to the national convention, it is a winner takes all state for Republicans who lost half of their delegates to the national convention due to the early date of the primary.
  • Last week an average of polls compiled by RealClearPolitics.com showed Obama with 42.8% of South Carolina voters while New York senator Clinton was getting 30.6% and former North Carolina senator John Edwards was at 14.2%.
  • Actual results came in at 55% Obama, 27% Clinton and 18% Edwards.
  • Current RealClearPolitics.com polls average show McCain with 29.8% of Florida voters, Romney with 29.3%, Guiliani with 15.5%, Huckabee with 12.8% and Paul with 3.8%.
  • Actual results for Florida ? Wait and see on Wednesday.
