- John McCain, Ron Paul, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have been busy on the campaign trail this last year not leaving much time for their day jobs in the 110th Congress.
- To date John McCain has the worst record of the three having missed 56.6% of his votes and voting against his Republican party 12.2% of that time.
- Ron Paul missed 28.0% of the votes and voted against his Republican party in 25.2% of the votes.
- Hillary Clinton missed 24.7% of the votes and voted against her Democrat party in 2.9% of the votes.
- Barack Obama missed 38.3% of the votes and voted against his Democrat party in 3.6% of the votes.
