- Mitt Romney "suspended" his campaign last week leaving John McCain as the favorite for the Republican Presidential nominee due to the number of delegates he has won.
- Ron Paul currently has 14 delegates compared to John McCain's 719. 1,191 are needed to secure the nomination.
- Ron Paul has set records with fund raising but, not at the polls. If Dr. Paul's supporters like the dream of the revolution but, were afraid in the past to vote for a candidate who was considered "unelectable" perhaps now is the time for them to come out and vote their conscience.
- Today on http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ Dr. Paul wrote "Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get."
- The upcoming primary results will tell the rest of the story.
