More Ron Paul Delegates for May Washington State Republican Convention

  • Republican delegates selected in February caucused last Saturday in Washington to choose delegates for the state's Republican Convention which is scheduled to occur May 29-31, 2008.
  • According to an article in The Chronicle, "In Lewis County, McCain led in Feb. 19 primary, but tied Ron Paul in the Feb. 9 caucuses, with each receiving 45 delegates. Mike Huckabee, who has since dropped out of the presidential race, had 37 delegates."
  • District one in Lewis County selected three delegates for McCain and four for Ron Paul while district two selected four for McCain and three for Paul. Results for other counties have been difficult to find.
  • Chelan County will hold its convention today, and Stevens County is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2008.
