Before the Texas Primary Hillary Clinton's campaign ran a TV ad widely known as the 3 AM ad. Click here to see video.
- At least one of the images used in the ad was obtained by the Clinton campaign from Getty Images.
- It was of a young girl sleeping in bed and was originally shot for a railroad company advertisement.
- Casey Knowles, the girl in the image, was 8 when it was filmed and will turn 18 next month.
- She and her family were unaware her image had been used in the ad until her brother recognized her while watching Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" comment about the ad.
- Ms. Knowles is now a high school senior residing in Bonney Lake, Washington. It is reported that "She has been campaigning for Obama and attended his rally at Seattle's Key Arena on Feb. 8. Her mother, Pam, told The News Tribune of Tacoma that Casey cried and trembled after shaking the candidate's hand."
- On a Good Morning America interview she said ""I've been campaigning for Obama for a long time. I actually called a lot of people around my area and got them to come out and caucus for him. I was a precinct captain at my caucus in February," Knowles said. "I'm actually a delegate for my precinct and I can go on to county, state and even potentially the national convention in Denver.""
