Democrat Foster wins Special Election for Republican Dennis Hastert's House Seat

• Saturday's Special Election to fill retiring Republican Dennis Hastert's house seat was won by Democrat Bill Foster.
• Foster beat Republican challenger Jim Oberweis 53% to 47%.
• He will serve out the remainder of Hastert's term which ends in January of 2009.
• Another election will be held in November to determine who holds the seat for the next full term.
