That's great!

Now if only one attendee has an ounce of reason Paul will be asked how an isolationist country could hope to protect themselves from Iran's ballistic missile/ nuclear bomb programs with 'talk' and how legalizing drugs would not push us even further into unprincipled depravity.

While correctly adhering to the design of our founding fathers only the insane try to ignore technological advancements in travel and communication.

Paul merely stands on a soapbox of quicksand that only the foolishly ignorant support.

Ron Paul is non-interventionist, not isolationist: trade and discussion with everyone but refrain from trying to police the world.

How did the US ever protect itself from all the other nuclear armed powers? Answer: countries with nukes refrain from going to war with one another; that's the historical precedent.

The empire is ending anyway with the impending implosion of its monetary system. No amount of militaristic rhetoric can prevent it.

Regarding drugs: the war on some drugs has caused staggering depravity in the form of official corruption and heavyhanded police tactics while the availability of drugs has increased. Only a fool would want to keep doing what does clearly not work in achieving its suppoed goal of reducing drug use.
