
- More than 20,000 U.S. citizens living abroad in 164 countries voted in the Democrats Abroad primaries in person, by mail and over the internet from February 5 through February 12th.
- Ex-patriots participated in the primary from 164 countries including Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Japan, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Philippines, Thailand, Switzerland, and Zambia.
- Barack Obama won the Democrats Abroad delegates with 65.6% of the vote. Of the remaining 34.4% of votes, 32.7% were for Hillary Clinton.
