
- On February 27, 2008 the DNC announced it would start publishing daily facts about John McCain.
- The first press release states that John McCain has benefited from qualifying for public campaign financing by using his qualification to gain ballot access in Ohio and Delaware as well as using the qualification to secure a loan to his campaign in November of 2007.
- The DNC states that:
"McCain also used the fact that he qualified for the matching funds process to
gain ballot access in Ohio and Delaware without having to spend the time and
